Pitter-patter, raindrops,
Falling from the sky;
Here is my umbrella
To keep me safe and dry!
When the rain is over,
And the sun begins to glow,
Little flowers start to bud,
And grow and grow and grow!

Hi Leah!
You recently left a comment on my blog, but I cant respond to email because your email address is not linked to blogger.
You asked about an old window I was using as a picture frame in my house, and lead paint.
I am slightly concerned about the window having lead paint. I do not know whether it does or doesnt. I made sure that there were no peeling flaking pieces that would come off, and I put it up high enough on the wall that my kids can't touch it. I believe that lead paint is only a problem if it gets ingested. My kids are old enough now that I am not worried about them eating it. Tons of the houses around here are not deleaded (we live in New England), and our docs have told us that as long as they are not gnawing on the window frames, they are fine.
So, to answer you question - no I am not too worried about lead paint - but if you are, then I am sure there are ways to protect against it, but still use your old window.
Good luck!!
Lindsay
